Dress up in your finest beach attire to celebrate the last day of the season! Whether as a tropical animal like a turtle or a fish, a Hawaiian shirt vacation dad, a pirate, scuba diver, mermaid, coconut – the beach is your oyster. There will be free face painting in the morning to help you finish off your look (adults can do it too). If you need extra incentive, there will be a prize for best costume presented in Whisky Jack’s when the live music by Hillbilly Scrabble starts. While you’re there, enter to win the 50/50 volunteer ski patrol fundraising draw as well. So plan to stay for the day and have some fun!

Sign up to race against your best friend or arch nemesis in the turkey shoot dual race, or try your luck with the slush cup – Arc’teryx prizes and an après sauna to help tempt you against an icy cold fate. Hint: wetsuit could make a great costume for this one if you’re too chicken to adorn a golden banana hammock. Play some snow volleyball to warm up and enjoy the beach vibes while you wait.

Don’t forget to check out the Smithers Brewing Co. beer garden and barbecue! All activities (including food & beer) will be conveniently located right next to each other between the ski club/lodge area and T-bar.

Note: face painting and dual race/slush cup registration will be located on the café side of the lodge in the morning. Be sure to get there early to secure your spot and painted face.
